Thibaut Vallette of France and his horse jumped on a cross-country course in the eventing competition at the #Olympic Equestrian Center in Brazil. Eventing is essentially the equestrian version of a triathlon, except that its 3 parts — dressage, cross-country and show jumping — take place over multiple days.
